        张建华,男,出生于1964年12月,博士,教授,1997年受聘担任博士生导师,兼任中国机械工程学会特种加工分会常务理事、中国刀协先进切削技术研究分会常务理事、山东机械工程学会特种加工委员会副主任委员。
        1985年7月毕业于合肥工业大学机械系,获得工学学士学位;1988年2月毕业于合肥工业大学机械系,获得工学硕士学位;1991年7月毕业于山东大学机械系,获得工学博士学位。1995年被评聘为教授,1997年被评聘为博士生导师。1993年3月至1994年7月、1996年8月至1997年9月、2000年4月至2000年11月三度应邀赴香港理工大学进行合作科学研究工作,2006年12月至2007年11月公派赴美国卡内基-梅隆大学(Carnegie Mellon University)进行访问学者工作。
从事的专业为机械制造及其自动化,研究领域包括高效精密复合加工技术及数控装备、超硬材料的成型加工新技术及机理、硬脆材料加工表面的改性和强化等,讲授的课程包括特种加工技术及理论、复合加工技术、磨削加工新技术及理论等。
        研究成果先后获得山东省发明二等奖一项、山东省科学技术进步二等奖二项;出版《精密与特种加工技术》(教材)和《复合加工技术》(编著),在《Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology》、《Journal of Materials Processing Technology》等国际杂志以及国内期刊和国际学术会议上发表论文一百多篇。获得国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴、第六届山东省青年科学家奖、山东大学十大杰出青年等荣誉。

Dr. Zhang has been a professor of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Shandong University, since 1995. He worked as a research staff at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to develop a combined technology of ultrasonic machining and electro-machining from April 1993 to July 1994. At the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Prof. Zhang had also worked as a researcher on the project “Machining and Surface Modification of Advanced Engineering Ceramics” from September 1996 to August 1997, and from April to November 2000. During December 2006 to November 2007, Prof. Zhang worked at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA, as a visiting scholar at the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
       Prof. Zhang has served as project leader/manager of many research projects, funded by organizations such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Ministry of Education of China, and the Research & Development Foundation of Shandong Province, etc.
       Prof. Zhang has registered 9 Chinese patents and has published over 100 papers in internationally and domestically recognized journals. In 2002, he received the 2nd class award of Invention in Science and Technology from the Government of Shandong Province, China. Prof. Zhang was awarded with the 2nd class award of Advancement in Science and Technology twice (in 1996 and 2004), by the Government of Shandong Province, China. He was also honoured with the Chinese Department of State Government Allowance, and the Distinguished Young Scientist Award of Shandong Province for his achievements.
